My paintings begin with noticing.

Hello, I'm Payton!

I'm a watercolor and ink artist living and working in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. I find endless inspiration in flowers, changing light, familiar places, and the small moments that make an ordinary day feel extraordinary.

My work is sometimes bright and exuberant, sometimes quiet and contemplative, but it always begins with noticing.

Here you'll find original paintings, live illustrations created in the midst of celebration, and workshops where we gather to make something beautiful together.

I'm so glad you're here.

xo, Payton
